Baby it's cold outside....this is my back yard and with the new snow cover it sure is pretty but the temp hasn't been above 12*. The weather man says we are in for a long run of cold weather so time to pull out the fabric and start quilting. Hope everyone is staying warm. I am off until Thursday so I want to get started on a new project but I am not sure which one. We are anticipating the baby in the next few weeks so I have to be ready to go when the call comes. Nicole and Dave live in Baltimore and have no family there to help with Jillian when she goes into labor so I will hopefully be able to get there before the new baby comes. She goes to the doctor on Friday and we will know more then. If I didn't have to work I would just go now to help but I cant just yet. It is so hard being this far away.....

I'm with you on the temperatures. And it's not just the cold. The wind chills have been below zero for days. Snuggle up-- stay up.

The clean, white snow is so beautiful! It's so hard being away from family when they need you or when you want to be there with them. Good luck!

Good luck with the things you need to do for the new baby's arrival. Hopefully the weather warms up a bit for travelling. How long would it take you to get to Baltimore from where you are? Would you drive or fly?
